Catching up on photos

I've spent a little time going through the last couple years pictures. What a job! I need to remember to do this monthly at a minimum, so it doesn't become a huge black hole! Working with digital pictures is truly a blessing and a curse. I take a ton more pictures than I did back in the film days. Which means, I get some fun random photos of Noah, and tons of beautiful scenery pictures when we travel. The curse is that you have to spend more time at the computer to sort and select them. I placed a big Shutterfly order including a book about our vacation last summer. Ah, accomplishment! Can't wait to show it to Noah! They have a nifty little option at checkout that allows me to share it with you too!

Little craft

I've been keeping a few items from Noah's baby days in a drawer. That's not a good place for them. They wouldn't work in his baby book because they're too bulky. I finally took the time to get a shadow box and put it together to hang on the wall. I'm quite pleased with how it turned out.

Put a fork in it

Phase 1 is officially done!
Shower - before caulk and installing curtain, those have been done now.

One boy who is happy "his" bathroom is looking good. (you may also notice we got the mirror up)

Bedroom done.  Lovely soft carpet, hung doors, calming colors and they go all the way down the hall to the entrance.
All construction associated with Phase 1 is completely done.  The punch list has been reviewed and punched out.  Bam.  In addition to discovering what we got, getting it locked up and cleaned up, putting in lights where there were very few, we knocked out a total transformation of 1/3 of the place in less than 8 months of ownership.
One more time...

AFTER

Anybody else have a total transformation to share?  Do you like the new clean colors?!  I sure do.

Condo bathroom progress

Woo Hoo!  It's starting to look like a true bathroom!
Brian got the confusing plumbing issues under the sink taken care of and it's put into place.  It only took an hour or so to get the vanity and plumbing worked into place.
Hard work in a tight spot under the sink and above the shelf.

The carpet guy kindly offered a scrap of carpet pad.  We were able to work in the bathroom while he was installing...

Mmm, love that sink!

Whoop whoop!
Next up is a mirror... which is in. I just haven't gone back to upload my pictures yet. I've been sitting on this post as a draft for 2 weeks now. Brian's heading back to the condo for a work weekend and has the computer and camera. So much for getting caught up on blog stuff. My to-do list for while he's gone is a mile long. What to start with?? Crafting, cooking, housework, reading, biking, or a good chick-flick! Have a good week!

Farewell my Subaru

It's turning out to be an interesting choice of day to make the leap away from our trusty old outback. Now we get a freak May snowstorm.  It will melt soon enough and we are ready for lots of fun and comfortable road trips!
