A little contest...

For those of you who haven't heard yet, we're going to have a baby! We are planning on finding out the gender whenever we can - we both like to plan ahead and be organized...
In the meantime, I'd like to see what our friends and family have to say?? Do you think we'll have a boy or a girl? I'll also make this your one and only opportunity to make suggestions or comments about naming this child... Leave a comment to enter.
You are free to ask any questions about my pregnancy so far if you believe in one of those old wives tales and want to use that as a measure, I'd love to hear it!
When we believe we know the gender, I'll close the contest and do a random drawing from those who guessed correctly for a little prize...

Hooray, hooray! What a fun little idea this is. I think you will have a BOY. I don't know why-- I just do. :) I will not offer names; that's such personal decision, and teaching only makes it more difficult. I can't wait to hear what you are having. Oh! And it was great to see you at church last night. :)

"...and in the days of shemipooh the magnificant, there was a woman that would conceive a spawn that would usher in a new era unto the people of the Brianites. The child would be a hermapherdite eunich and they shall call him "Thogor Malak Tahokote", which means "eater of many nachos". And he shall save the Brianites from the insurection of the anti-shemipooh...." THE BOOK OF RYAN, 5:39.

Hey Melissa! That was my devotional for the morning! :) Ok, now I shall be normal for a spell...I think you guys will have a girl, and her name should be Jane (after Jane Austin)...just cause its a cool name. Later!

Hi Melissa - I decided to use the Chinese Lunar Calendar for assistance with my prediction so based on it, I'm going with a girl. I don't have any name suggestions - it was really hard choosing one for my own kids. Hope everything is going well!

Well, I am going with girl! No reason, just cuz. As for names, my favorite girl name is Sydney. Can't wait to hear what the doctors say!

First of all, the Book of Ryan was taken way out of context in the comment above... here is some brief clarification: The "days of Shemipooh" were a dark period marked by death, stench, disease, foul language, sexual abnormality, and popcorn misuse. Therefore, the "anti-Shemipooh", named Bradeniferous, is actually the Savior of the Brianites, not the one who needed to be defeated. I apologize for taking so much space, but I did not want anyone to be led astray by the earlier comment.

Anyway, I have a feeling that a little girl is in your future. I have no idea about a name or why I think she is a girl. I can't wait to meet her!!!

Congratulations!!!
I think you will have a boy! I don't know why but I think it fits. I suppose we only have 3and a half weeks till we both find out what we are having... I can't wait. Do you guys have any guesses or feelings?

Lori

PS. I think the book of Ryan is highly over rated, and quoted!

( I tried to post last week but it didn't work. Here goes again.)

I think you will have a boy. Please give him a name that he can spell easily and people will know how to pronounce!
